Human trafficking is modern-day slavery; the buying and selling of humans. Prevention happens through educating adults and youth about the plight of sex trafficking in America and equipping them with practical ways to keep themselves safe. Learn more about what you can do to combat this serious crime against humanity from Traffick911.

The two most common forms of human trafficking are sexual slavery/commercial sex trade and forced labor. We only thought slavery ended with the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s alive and well today with more slaves than at any point in history - Global Slavery Index estimates 45.8 million slaves are in the world today. Traffick911 exists to free youth from sex trafficking with a three-prong strategy of prevention, identification and empowerment. They have identified and/or assisted 694 (and counting) victims and work in close partnership with law enforcement.
