Free STEM Kits for Your Young Scientists

You're raising scientists. Challenge them and expand their opportunities with STEM Kits from local libraries. These kits are free to check out. Each includes science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities centered around a single theme.

  • Human Heart
  • Microscopes
  • Night Sky
  • Ocean Life
  • Plants

  • and more!

STEM Kits are available at the following libraries: Alvaredo, Arlington, Benbrook, Burleson, Cedar Hill, Cleburne, Crowley, Duncanville, Grand Prairie, Kennedale, Lancaster, and Mansfield. At most libraries, you won’t see STEM Kits on the shelves, so be sure to ask the service staff at your library for assistance. You may also search for kits using the keyword “STEAM KIT” in the library catalog.

STEM Kits are made possible through a Library Cooperation Grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
