Solar Eclipse Viewing

UPDATE: Due to high volumes of interest, one pair of the solar eclipse glasses will be available to check-out per library card for a two hour period.

Come to Mansfield Public Library and check out special solar eclipse glasses to view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017. The maximum eclipse time will be approximately at 1:10pm. This is a come and go event. No registration is required....

North Texas Giving Day

North Texas Giving Day is an annual online giving event, coordinated by the Communities Foundation of Texas, to encourage North Texans to make charitable contributions to the nonprofit organizations of their choice. All contributions made from 6 a.m. -midnight that day are matched, in part, by the Communities Foundation. Join us at the Levitt as we celebrate North Texas Giving Day in Arlington!

Hola: Teen Spanish Club

Trying to learn Spanish? Join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month to explore the Spanish language through conversation, games and learning activities. Learn about the different Spanish cultures at each session!

Arlington Rocks

Join us for rock painting fun! Design and paint rocks with your friends. We will provide paint-friendly rocks and rock-friendly paint. You bring your imagination! Feel free to bring your favorite designs, painting tips and ideas for hiding rocks in the community.

Come back later in the week for paint touch ups and the final sealant.

Creative Writing Workshop for Teens

Have you ever been interested in becoming an author? Maybe you are having writers block? Join us every other Thursdays for a teen writing workshop series! Learn how to develop your characters or maybe you would like to learn how to write a fight scene. Bring all your questions!

This program is intended for 13-18 year olds. No registration is required!

Mindstorm Robotics

Each Tuesday, students ages 9-14 can come learn to build and program a Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot to complete a task. No previous robotics experience is necessary. Registration is not required, but space is limited to the first 12 attendees.

Teen Coding Club

Whether you are new to coding or you are already familiar with one or more programming languages, come join our Teen Coding Club!

You can learn new coding skills to create games, websites, and other computer programs. We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month, September to November. Bring your own laptop or borrow one of ours. You are welcome to arrive late or leave early. For teens in grades 7-12.
