Girls Who Code Information Session

Join us for an information session for girls and parents discussing the Girls Who Code club at Arlington Public Library!

Girls Who Code is a unique program seeking to inspire young girls to actively pursue and explore computer science. Through a proven curriculum, Girls Who Code equips girls with concrete technical skills that will provide the foundation for futures in technology, as well as leadership, teamwork and other important life skills. No registration required.

Teen Influencers

Join social media influencer, author and local small business owner Jacqueline Hill as we learn about entrepreneurship, social media branding and marketing. Jacqueline teach program participants the fine art of advertising yourself or your business in the best possible way by sharing social media strategies to get followers and clicks. There will be a special focus on nonprofit work so this will help you help others!

Boys Create and Meditate

"Boys Create and Meditate" is a program designed for boys to explore various types of relaxation techniques including meditation, yoga, and martial arts, as well as art practices such as painting, sculpting, and poetry.

A fun, safe space to express themselves, "Boys Create" aims to give young men new skills to help cope in stressful environments. And who knows, you might even get hypnotized in the process...

Speaker Series: InspirED College Prep 101

The College Prep Presentation by InspireEd will be ideal for high school students and families. The presentation will look at the various steps students need to take in order to prepare for college including: financial aid, scholarships, and taking the ACT and/or SAT. International Observe the Moon Night

Join Mansfield Public Library in conjunction with Forth Worth Astronomical Society in celebrating International Moon Festival (InOMN). International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. We will meet at the library courtyard to view the moon. No registration is required for this program and equipment will be provided.

This free program will introduce you to the iNaturalist app, how to use it, and get you prepared for the Fall Mini Bio Blitz at Oliver Nature Park on October 21 st 9am-noon.
