Teen Get Crafty

Get Crafty for Teens @ MPL. Enjoy making crafts? Come join us on each month and make a monthly themed craft. Call the library for more information on the craft. Registration opens two weeks prior to the program. Program is free and limited to ages 13-17.

TechLiNK @ Back to School Bash

The TechLiNK will be at Back to School Bash hosted by the Arlington Police Department. There will be bounce houses; you can learn about street safety, talk with the fire department, and play games. Free food and more! Join us and enjoy meeting and interacting with your community.

Teen Tuesdays

Come to the Lab at East Branch Library every Tuesday night for a different teen program! Painting, writing, robots-who knows what will be going on between 6:30-7:30 p.m.?

The Lab is open to teens from 4-8 pm on Tuesday nights. Teen Tuesday programs are from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Solar Eclipse Viewing

UPDATE: Due to high volumes of interest, one pair of the solar eclipse glasses will be available to check-out per library card for a two hour period.

Come to Mansfield Public Library and check out special solar eclipse glasses to view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017. The maximum eclipse time will be approximately at 1:10pm. This is a come and go event. No registration is required....

Robotics Showcase

UTARI (University of Texas at Arlingtons's Research Institute) would like to invite everyone to this amazing Robotics Showcase!

This event will have the latest in robotic technology with the leading engineers and researchers in their field to tell us all about them.

This is a hands on event for all ages, and we encourage video and picture taking.

North Texas Giving Day

North Texas Giving Day is an annual online giving event, coordinated by the Communities Foundation of Texas, to encourage North Texans to make charitable contributions to the nonprofit organizations of their choice. All contributions made from 6 a.m. -midnight that day are matched, in part, by the Communities Foundation. Join us at the Levitt as we celebrate North Texas Giving Day in Arlington!

Hola: Teen Spanish Club

Trying to learn Spanish? Join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month to explore the Spanish language through conversation, games and learning activities. Learn about the different Spanish cultures at each session!

Arlington Rocks

Join us for rock painting fun! Design and paint rocks with your friends. We will provide paint-friendly rocks and rock-friendly paint. You bring your imagination! Feel free to bring your favorite designs, painting tips and ideas for hiding rocks in the community.

Come back later in the week for paint touch ups and the final sealant.

Creative Writing Workshop for Teens

Have you ever been interested in becoming an author? Maybe you are having writers block? Join us Thursdays in October for a teen writing workshop series with local author Trakena Prevost! Learn how to develop your characters or maybe you would like to learn how to write a fight scene. Bring all your questions!

This program is intended for 13-18 year olds.
