International Observe the Moon Night

Join Mansfield Public Library in conjunction with Forth Worth Astronomical Society in celebrating International Moon Festival (InOMN). International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. We will meet at the library courtyard to view the moon. Joins us at the Mansfield Public Library for iNaturalist 101 and learn about becoming a citizen scientist! This free program will introduce you to the iNaturalist app, how to use it, and get you prepared for the Fall Mini Bio Blitz at Oliver Nature Park on October 21 st 9am-noon. The Lab

Teens can hang out at the Lab at East Branch Library every Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 pm. Teen Tuesday programs are from 6:30-7:30 pm, and you can join us for a different program each week! The rest of the time is for you to use a computer, play a video game, make art, read a book, or whatever is going on in the Lab that night!

GO Center

GO Centers help spread the word about college and career opportunities, create and promote a college-going culture and encourage students to consider higher education after graduation. By providing the necessary resources, information and man-power, GO Centers are able to help students and parents better prepare and plan for college. They serve as a point of coordination between students, counselors, and institutions of higher education.

Go Center Mentors will be available every Tuesday 3 to 6 p.m.
