Join us for Microsoft PowerPoint for beginners. Basic computer skills are necessary for this class. Please bring a flash drive if you would like to save your work. Program is free of charge and program is limited to ages 18+. Registration is required for this program. Please stop by the library or call at 817-728-3690 to register. Registration opens two weeks prior to the program.

Spanish for Beginners

This program is for non-native Spanish speakers who want to learn basic Spanish skills. Join us weekly on Tuesday's from 5-6 pm. Classes are free and no registration is required. Programs is limited to 18 & up.

TechLiNK @ Short Elementary

Writing Group

A public venue in which like-minded writers may bring their work for input from fellow writers and, in turn, return the favor to their peers. These read-and-critique sessions will meet the first Monday of the month in a series of six sessions. Eight spots are available.

This program is facilitated by Vikki Burke with the occasional experienced guest. It is our hope that participants will not only receive valuable feedback on their writing, but will also learn how to create great critique groups of their own.

She lives in Fort Worth, Texas, where she is contributing editor for 360 West magazine and posts about her vegetarian adventures in Texas and around the country at Meatless in Cowtown on Facebook.

Let Your Voice Be Heard: Register To Vote or Update Your Voter Information

Exercising the right to vote is one of the most powerful ways you can have a say in how your local, state, and federal governments are run. However, before you can participate in any election, you must first register to vote. It takes less than a minute to register! We will have volunteer deputy registrars at the library to help you figure out if you are already registered, determine if your information is up to date and assist you in getting registered. Program is free and no registration is required.

International Observe the Moon Night

Join Mansfield Public Library in conjunction with Forth Worth Astronomical Society in celebrating International Moon Festival (InOMN). International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. We will meet at the library courtyard to view the moon. No registration is required for this program and equipment will be provided.
